I tried this one in Procreate … mostly because the instructor started in Procreate to show how he does the grid method … but then I didn’t switch pencil and kept on going … and I loved it. What a game changer!!

Day #6. Again … the proportions are off …. argh!!! I feel like the eyes nose and mouth are all pretty accurate, but the forehead – something is just … off. I knew this would be a challenge … and this frustration only makes me work harder.

Day #5. On this one, I paused the video and REALLY focused on the proportions before I continued on … and I’m MUCH happier with the results. I really enjoyed experimenting with the cross hatching approach.

This was a different technique – full on charcoal with erasing the highlights. My proportions are off on this one and I’m not too happy about it.
