























This was our third research project, or Milestone III, in Research for Commercial Creatives course (MA in Art & Design at Kennesaw State University). The goal was to research a specific part of an animation pipeline – a preproduction component specifically. At first I started to research character model sheets, but as I was looking into that, I came across the Maquette as a process used in the preproduction pipeline during character development. This has so far been the most fun research project to date! As a project component to this research project, I chose to make a maquette of my character, Haldane.
